  • Age 18 to 65
  • 18 to 60: $1.5 million face limit
  • 61 to 65: $1 million face limit
  • Applying for any permanent, single-life policy
  • Standard or better (including smokers) 2
  • Must have an existing inforce policy, issued by an approved life insurance company (see below), for at least six months and no more than five years.

  2. MetLife receives complete documentation (including in-force policy data page to show underwriting class)
  3. Clean Medical Supplement (no major changes in health since taking out initial policy), MIB, Motor Vehicle Report, and Rx Inquiry
  4. Policy is approved at original underwriting class
  5. You have extended coverage beyond your initial term with no exam before January 2016!
